You are invited to the launch of the book titled Anatolian Livestock Trade in the Late Ottoman Empire to be held on Friday, February 14 at the ANAMED Library. The presenters of this meeting will be Faisal Husain, who will be the discussant.

Anatolian Livestock Trade in the Late Ottoman Empire analyzes the expansion of live animal trade in Anatolia during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, a period of significant political, social and environmental changes. It contributes to the literature on Ottoman environmental history and socioeconomic history by examining the effects of these changes on human and non-human actors, mapping trade routes and networks, and tracing their transformations over time.
