Rising over the shoulders of a union catalogue, BiblioPera brings the multilingual collections of the libraries of research centers together, and creates a platform for further cooperation for research and activities in Social Sciences, Art &amp; Humanities.<\/p>\n<p>Supported by Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA), and developed by Ko\u00e7 University Suna Kira\u00e7 Library with the partnership of Istanbul Research Institute, Ko\u00e7 University Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations, Salt Research, Deutsches Arch\u00e4ologisches Institut-Istanbul, Netherlands Institute in Turkey, Institut Fran\u00e7ais d&#8217;\u00c9tudes Anatoliennes, Orient-Institut Istanbul, Swedish Research Institute in Istanbul, and Sismanoglio Megaro,\u00a0Yap\u0131 Kredi Research Library,\u00a0The Foundation for the Protection and Promotion of Environmental and Cultural Heritage,\u00a0The American Research Institute in Turkey and ARTER Libraries, BiblioPera\u2019s mission is to promote historical, archaeological, and social scientific research on Turkey, and grant Beyoglu a new identity of research. BiblioPera further aims to provide a unique virtual environment for scholars, research center staff, and librarians to share ideas, experiences, and collaborate on new projects, for scientific and cultural production.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb0\">The platform&#8217;s long term goal is to expand its cooperation with research centers and libraries that comply certain criteria.
