On Saturday 29 April, the third NIT / Leiden University Turkish Studies in Istanbul Network Meeting will be held at the Netherlands Institute in Turkey, İstiklal Caddesi No:181, Beyoğlu, Turkey. At this meeting current and graduated PhD candidates and master students currently in Istanbul of the Leiden University department of Middle Eastern Studies, track Turkish Studies, will present their current projects to each other. This work in progress meeting aims at the exchange of the new scholarly insights and academic best practices amongst junior and senior colleagues who share a common link to the department in Leiden. The meeting will be open (for attendance only) to a limited number of other academics (master students/PhD candidates/scholars working in the field of Turkish Studies) who are interested and want to contribute to the scholarly discussion.
